The four directions Symbalas were a perfect balance for the four elements because of the differences in the inspiration. The elements were born in a mental flurry of Golden Proportion Geometry awareness and symbolic integration, while the directions were birthed after an intense, emotional experience evoked by reading a pastlife autobiographical book called The Heart of the Fire by Cerridwen Fallingstar. The book is steeped in Celtic magic and Wiccan lore which contains much abandoned wisdom and ceremony. Such ceremonies honoring the four directions can be found in most native traditions, but the impact of this book drew me into its mysteries.
